Learn to use the
wonderfully flexible qualities of the right angle weave stitch to
cover several small rings. Using a variety of surface embellishments
each ring becomes it's own work of art. Tubular peyote with a series
of increases and decreases is used to separate each of rings which
then spin around the peyote core. An embellished right angle weave
necklace completes the piece for wearing.

Rings of Saturn originally designed in 1999, has held its universal appeal. I wanted to celebrate the timelessness of this unique design with a truly magical color way. This gold and silver version uses sterling silver metal beads, crystal cal ab2x crystals, 2 mm crystal ab beads, and dorado crystal sequins. The matte and shiny gold delicas of the peyote core provide the perfect backdrop for the revolving rings and the simplicity of the Russian spiral necklace suspends the pendant beautifully.

This original version was printed on the cover of the 2001 A Bead
Odyssey calendar. It features a shiny and matte gold delica at it's
core surrounded by dark green and dark rose rings.

Cobalt accents accent a backdrop of shiny and matte gold create a striking combination.

Black sets off the jewel tones which embellish the rings around this Saturn. It looks stunning on white shirt.
