This cuff cannot be fully appreciated until it lays softly around your wrist. Created primarily with seed beads, this bracelet uses folds and layers of beads to give a supple texture. I call this technique soft peyote.
Each of the elements which create the suppleness and shape will be illustrated along with many freeform techniques. These will include:
- Creating the folds
- Incorporating larger beads
- Creating open spaces using ladders
- Twisting beaded strands through the open spaces
- Increasing and decreasing to provide texture
- Closures
