| Blowing in the Wind | ||||
| This delightful round amulet
contains a secret for the child in all of us, hidden inside is a bubble
blower! The design allows for removing the bubble blower from its
pouch for bubble blowing and for refilling. The amulet is worked using
tubular peyote with a series of decreases and is then embellished.
The bottle is covered in peyote and is fitted with a peyote stitched
sleeve which slides up and down to reveal the bubble blower.
Day 1: Create an amulet pouch using peyote stitch and embellish with accent beads (crystals are a nice sparkly choice). Day 2: Cover a small glass bottle with peyote and make a collar to fit into the amulet. Glue a piece of diochroic glass to the top of the bottle and make a sterling silver bubble wand to glue inside the cap String a neckchain of your choice (directions include ooga la la butterfly) to suspend your bubbles around your neck ready for fun bubble blowing at any time! |
