Etruscean Treasure

This piece was inspired from an 1830's watch fob pendant that I came across in a Sotheby's auction catalog. The tear drop shape is created using right angle weave over an armature. The center Swarovski rivoli is bezeled and joined at three points to the peyote bezels. A fourth bezel surrounds the bail and a crystal studded spiral neckchain completes the design.

Day 1:

An armature of 18 gauge wire is cut and shaped before being covered with a strip of right angle weave. The tear drop is then embellished at three points with peyote bands which can be decorated using, pearls, crystals or semi-precious stones.

Day 2:

The center rivoli will be bezeled and joined at to the 3 bezels. The bail will be created and the 4th bezel created to surround the bail. We will begin the crystal studded spiral necklace.
