Inspired by the many crosses which are part of Venice architecture, this cross is designed connecting small medallions into the cross shape and backing them with right angle weave. Each medallion is it’s own small jewel and uniquely yours. The cross is suspended from a length of ndebele studded with swarovski crystals.

Day 1:

Work on the 6 medallions which make up the cross, learning many different embellishment techniques to make each one different while blending them into a cohesive design.

Day 2:

Begin the right angle weave backing and learn to attach the medallions to one another and then to the backing. Start an ndebele neckchain and learn to embellish with crystals. Discuss possible closures.
